  1. Some radios show it: hold DISP or DISPLAY for a few seconds.
  2. Otherwise take the radio out and take a photo of the label.
  3. Copy all 14 letters and numbers, like BP3782R3701682.

Tips for your MG TF

  • Two release keys take the radio out; the serial is on the label on the case.
  • A CD43 in an MG is the same Blaupunkt radio as in a Rover 25, so the same steps apply.

Can you do every MG TF radio?

For 2002–2005, yes: the code appears on screen as soon as you have paid; for 2007 on, not at the moment. The free check tells you which yours is before you pay.

Which radio does my MG TF have?

It depends on the year. 2002–2005 (MG TF): Blaupunkt CD radios carried over from the MGF and Rover 25. 2007 on (TF LE500): Later MG Motor radios. Radios were often swapped, so the serial on yours is what counts.
