About Blaupunkt radio codes

Blaupunkt made radios for many car makers, including Vauxhall, Ford, Peugeot, Nissan and Rover, as well as its own range such as the Woodstock, Casablanca and San Remo. The 14-character serial on the label usually starts BP. Some older Blaupunkt radios can take one of two codes, and we give you both.

How to find your Blaupunkt radio serial number

The serial isn’t shown on the screen: it is printed on a label on the radio itself. The serial tells us exactly which code your radio needs.

  1. Some radios show it: hold DISP or DISPLAY for a few seconds.
  2. Otherwise take the radio out and take a photo of the label.
  3. Copy all 14 letters and numbers, like BP3782R3701682.

Most radios slide out with a pair of radio removal keys (a few pounds from any car parts shop). Push them into the slots on the front until they click, then ease the radio forward. Some have screws to undo first.

Many radios show it when you press DISP. Otherwise take the radio out and take a photo of the label. It has 14 letters and numbers, like BP3782R3701682.

Why do I get two codes?

Some older Blaupunkt radios only go up to 1 for the first number. If yours won’t take the code, use the second one we give you.
