About Becker radio codes
Some Becker radios have a short 4-number serial. They come in three versions, depending on the highest number you can pick when entering a code (4, 6 or 8), and each gives a different code, so the free check asks which yours is.
How to find your Becker radio serial number
The serial isn’t shown on the screen: it is printed on a label on the radio itself. The serial tells us exactly which code your radio needs.
On the label
- Take the radio out.
- Read the 4-number serial on the label.
- Check the highest number your radio lets you pick: 4, 6 or 8.
Photograph the label rather than copying it by hand — 0 and O, 1 and I are easy to mix up.
Most radios slide out with a pair of radio removal keys (a few pounds from any car parts shop). Push them into the slots on the front until they click, then ease the radio forward. Some have screws to undo first.
