Which Meriva radios can you do?

The CAR 300 and CDR 2005 in the Meriva A, and Blaupunkt-built radios with a BP serial.

My Meriva B wants a code.

Those radios are matched to the car, so the code doesn’t come from the serial. A Vauxhall dealer can sort it with the Car Pass.

Do I have to take the radio out?

Yes — Vauxhall radios don’t show the serial on screen.

Can you do every Vauxhall Meriva radio?

How do I enter the code on a Vauxhall Meriva?

Hold the AS key down while switching the radio on. The display shows SAFE, then 10 - - - -, where the 10 is how many attempts you have left. Preset 1 sets the first digit, preset 2 the second, preset 3 the third and preset 4 the fourth — press each repeatedly until the right digit shows. Then press and hold AS until it beeps. A wrong entry means starting the whole number again.
