How to find your Rover 200 radio serial number
On the label
- Take the radio out.
- Copy the serial from the label: 14 letters and numbers starting AR or RG.
- It is also on the Security Information card, if you have it.

Tips for your Rover 200
- Two flat release keys take the radio out. The serial is on the label, and on some radios stamped into the metal side.
- Some of these radios have no display of their own and show CODE on the dashboard clock instead.

How do I enter the code on a Rover 200?
Switch the radio on — the display shows CODE, or -C- on some fascias. Press preset 1, then use the tuning buttons to reach the first digit, then press preset 1 again to store it. Repeat for the remaining three digits. A two-tone bleep confirms.
