How to find your Peugeot Boxer radio serial number

Where it is

On the label

  1. The serial is not shown on screen.
  2. Take the radio out with 4 release keys (2 each side) until they click, then pull.
  3. The label is on the metal case, on the back or one of the sides.
  4. It reads A2C and then a long run of numbers — type the whole thing in. Only the last 4 numbers are the serial and we take them for you.

Photograph the label rather than copying it by hand — 0 and O, 1 and I are easy to mix up.

RADIOFour removal pins, two in each end: push until they click, then pull

It comes out with four removal pins. Which keys, and where they go: how to remove a car radio.

Tips for your Peugeot Boxer

  • The label on a Boxer radio often says Fiat Ducato — that’s normal, the vans share the same radio.
  • Four release keys take the radio out. The serial is on the label on the case.
  • Type the serial into the free check before paying: later vans have radios we can’t do.

If your Peugeot Boxer radio says LOCKED, WAIT or SAFE

RadioWhat to do
Fiat Continental VP1 / VP2CODE — wrong tries are counted and the wait between goes grows quickly.
Blaupunkt / BoschAfter a wrong code, most Blaupunkt radios make you wait before the next try, and the wait gets longer each time. Leave the radio switched on until it asks for the code again.
Fiat Daiichi / 199 CDWAIT — the delay grows after each wrong try. Leave the radio on until it clears.

Peugeot Boxer radio code questions

Is the Boxer radio the same as a Ducato one?

On the 2002–2014 vans, yes. They share the radio, so the same codes and steps apply.

My Boxer is a 2017.

Those vans have a Continental VP1 or VP2, or a touchscreen. If the radio’s label reads A2C and a long number, type the whole line in — we do those. A touchscreen gives no label serial, and the free check says so for nothing.

Where is the serial?

On the radio’s label, so the radio has to come out.

Can you do every Peugeot Boxer radio?

For 2002–2006, 2006–2014, yes: the code appears on screen as soon as you have paid; for 2014 on, by email within 2 hours. The free check tells you which yours is before you pay.

Which radio does my Peugeot Boxer have?

It depends on the year. 2002–2006 (Boxer): Blaupunkt radios badged for the van. 2006–2014 (Boxer X250): Fiat-group radios made by Daiichi, plus Blaupunkt and Bosch radios. 2014 on (Boxer, facelift): Continental VP1 and VP2 radios, and touchscreens. Radios were often swapped, so the serial on yours is what counts.

What does the serial look like on a Peugeot Boxer?

2002–2006: 14 characters on the label, starting BP. 2006–2014: Daiichi: 4 numbers, or a letter and 4 numbers. Blaupunkt: 14 characters starting BP. 2014 on: A label reading A2C and a long run of numbers. For example A2C53108793 1234.

Do I have to take the radio out of my Peugeot Boxer?

Yes: the serial is on the label, not the screen. It comes out with four removal pins.

How do I enter the code on a Peugeot Boxer?

Press the preset button bearing each digit, one press per digit, then hold the last one or press the confirm key on the right of the fascia.
