How to find your Jaguar S-Type radio serial number
On the screen

Tips for your Jaguar S-Type
- Press PTY and EJECT together with the radio on — five numbers means an Alpine radio.
- Premium Sound cars have an amplifier in the boot, but the radio itself is still the part that holds the code.
- Touchscreen sat nav cars use a different radio that we can’t do.

How to enter your Jaguar S-Type radio code
- Press the button with each number on it (the 9 buttons work like a phone keypad).
- A beep means it worked.
- Press button 1 until the first number of your code shows. Do the same with buttons 2, 3 and 4.
- Press button 5 to finish (Land Rover: the right-hand arrow button).

Many US-market radios have no code at all, which is why a code from those cars never seems to be needed.
