About Isuzu radio codes
Isuzu bought its head units in rather than building them, but we have not been able to establish which maker supplied which Isuzu, and we are not going to guess at it. Type the serial from the label into the free check: it reads the serial rather than the badge, so if the unit turns out to be one we know — a Clarion with a barcode, or a Blaupunkt with a fourteen-character serial — it will say so and it costs nothing to find out. Later touchscreen units are matched to the vehicle and have no serial code to find at all.

Why we use your radio’s serial, not your number plate
A radio code belongs to the radio, not the car. A dealer usually looks it up from the Isuzu’s number plate or VIN (the 17-character number in your logbook), which only works if the car still has the radio it left the factory with. Radios are often swapped under warranty, upgraded, or changed by a previous owner.
The serial number is printed on the radio itself, so the code we give you matches the radio in front of you. It is also how we can check it for free before you pay. Main dealers often charge £30–£130, and you usually have to book the car in.
